Aranwa Hotels: Sustainability in Action
Our hotels implement concrete sustainability measures:
Responsible use of resources: reducing water consumption, refill stations for bottles, LED lighting, energy-efficient switches, and solar panels.
Environmental practices: oil recycling, refillable amenities, elimination of single-use plastics, and use of biodegradable products in food and beverages.
Social impact: generating local employment, supporting communities such as Coporaque in Colca and Chinchero in Cusco, and creating spaces for local handicraft sales.
Local production: purchasing fresh products from regional suppliers and using organic gardens in some hotels to promote organic and sustainable cuisine.
Urquillos: Health and Development for the Community
As part of our social commitment, we donated a Medical Center to the community of Urquillos, providing free care in basic health services.
This space makes it possible to:
Provide care for more than 1,120 residents in 2024.
Promote community development through local employment.
Sabores Aranwa: Gastronomy with Purpose
Sabores Aranwa is our solidarity initiative that turns gastronomy into support. In each of our hotels, you will find solidarity dishes created together with renowned chefs, where a percentage of the sales is donated to ONGs fighting hunger in Peru.
In a country where 47.6% of food production is wasted (equivalent to 12.8 million tons), Sabores Aranwa seeks to raise awareness and contribute with solutions. Thanks to this initiative, we have an impact in different regions of the country such as Cusco, Arequipa, Ica, and Piura, joining efforts to fight food insecurity.
Voz Animal: Empathy and Care that Transcend
- Through our Dog Friendly program, when you stay with your pet, a percentage of the booking is automatically donated toVoz Animal, a shelter that has been rescuing, healing, spaying/neutering, and promoting responsible adoptions for 15 years, with more than 3,000 adoptions and 16,500 sterilizations.
We also organize adoption events in partnership with collaborating brands, helping more animals find a loving home.
