Cusco, September 7, 2010. The Chamber of Commerce of Cusco awarded Aranwa Hotels Resorts & Spas as the most innovative company in the region; recognition granted for the operations of the company in the Sacred Valley, along River Vilcanota.

The maximum trade organization in Cusco, noted the importance of the company’s efforts to boost the local economy through Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Spa and appreciated in a special way the operations of this project that “integrates concepts of respect for the heritage, the promotion of incorporating art and concepts of healthy living as a tourist product”, said Charles Miller, president of the Chamber of Commerce of Cusco.

Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness is built on a seventeenth century hacienda. It presents a colonial style coupled with comfort and a novel wellness proposal, which includes health, with high technology and qualified personnel within the service.

In addition to the property in the Sacred Valley, the company will be opening a new luxury property in the city of Cusco on October 1st, 2010. Aranwa also owns Vichayito Bungalows & Tents, located in the beautiful beaches of northern Peru, and it is developing projects in the city of Arequipa and Paracas.
