Our group was headed for Machu Piccu and other tourist attractions so we did not have much time to really appreciate what is available at this resort. The grounds are beautiful with peacocks and parots among flowers and shrubs. There is a beautiful spa offering every type of massage, body wrap/soak, acupuncture, energy assessments, etc. The pool and hot tub are tasteful. Surrounding the resort are magnificent mountains, river and farms. One drawback with the room was the persistence of tiny flies and some mosquitos. If you can overlook this the bathrooms are fantastic. There is a whirlpool tub and a lovely rainshower beside it that is to die for after climbing around ruins, etc. As usual the food was great and prices were very reasonable. Room service was almost ridiculously affordable.

This property is GORGEOUS a welcome treat after long travels by plane & bus. The decor is breathtaking, the grounds LARGE for strolling, tons of secret gardens & paths, beautiful artwork, sculptures, ponds, birds, koi, pool, spa. Free internet in the biz center, and lovely meals. The rooms large, nicely decorated and great bathrooms, nothing but 5*** star ratings from me on this hotel. The staff were so sweet and accommodating. There is shopping on the grounds but it's a bit pricey. Wish we could have stayed here longer, not enough time to fully enjoy. I don't know what the nightly price was because I was on a tour so I can't comment on the rate.

Wow! You are driving through some of the most beautiful scenery in the world and you turn and drive down a dirt bumpy river road and you would never guess that what lies beyond that gate is another piece of paradise! Make sure you try a massage at the spa, you will be thoroughly pampered, what a perfect way to relax after traveling or hiking!

My family and I stayed at this facility during late June. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and our birthdays while visiting this paradise resort. We were treated to outstanding service and Spa amenities. The scenic and spectacular setting of this resort is breath taking. General Manager Thomas Henseler and his staff know how to cater to every detail of our family's time spent at the resort. Every step was one of the most beautiful and awe inspiring locations we have ever visited.

The staff is competent, friendly and eager to provide good service. We used the Aranwa as a base for sightseeing in Urubamba Valley, and then spent one whole day sitting by the pool and unwinding. I couldn't decide between a facial and a massage at the spa, so I had both! The workout room was uninviting, but did have several excellent pieces of equipment. After leaving, we continued in Peru for 2 more weeks fully rejuvenated!
