The hotel

The new property by Aranwa Hotels Resorts & Spas will be a riverside resort spa in the Colca valley, Arequipa. Only 10 minutes from the village of Chivay, Coporaque is a place of legends with numerous colonial memories that transports us to know the Andean traditions and mysticism, the devotion of religious festivals and historical past that few have seen up close.

The hotel will allow guests to enjoy a relaxing experience while getting in touch with the natural beauty of Peru. Enjoy the majesty of the Andean hills while wandering around the property and its lush gardens, breathing pure air. At night, enjoy the most amazing show of nature as you can see hundreds of stars in the sky, as well as many shooting stars.

Accommodation

The hotel will feature 32 rooms and 8 bungalows.

There will be 29 rooms and 3 suites, distributed in three building blocks. The rooms will have an area of 215 sq-feet and the suites, 592 sq-feet. They will offer wonderful views of the valley.

The bungalows will have an area of 645 sq-feet. They will be built to offer maximum comfort and privacy to guests. It will have a bedroom and a sitting area, where guests can sit to enjoy the wonderful Colca valley.

Facilities

The Colca Valley hotel will also have a chapel, a restaurant, and a cultural area. To achieve the spa ingredient of every property, the hotel will also have a spa which will have 2 Jacuzzis, 4 massage rooms (including a couple's suite), sauna, a Vichy shower, a foot shower and an open-air pool.

The Colca Canyon and Valley

Colca is a priviledge destination since it gathers nature's best: a wide variety of animal specie, beautiful flora and a unique landscape composed by mountains, rivers and a crystal clear blue sky. It is also the home of condor, marvelous bird species from Peru, which was considered sacred for the Andean people. Tourist like to visit La Cruz del Condor, where they can appreciate these magnificent birds flying free over the canyon.

Other nearby attractions include the church of Santiago Apostol, which has a small collection of religious objects; the tumbs of Coporaque and the ruins of Uyu Uyu, an old Inca settlement.
